This album is a raw, unfiltered look at humanity's darkest moments, written when the world felt on the verge of collapse. Every track reflects rage, sorrow, fear, and the desperate hope that something better might rise from the ruins. I embarked on the writing and recording of this album within the confines of my residence in Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia, during periods of lockdowns, curfews, travel restrictions, insurrection, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. A few songs on this album are about the stage of life I was in back then. The subsequent mixing and production of the album took place in Decatur, Georgia. Within the album, you will find relatable narratives intertwined with heavy riffs, profound lyrics, and a diverse range of metal vocal styles. As a one-man band, and this being Nuklear Mayhem's debut album, it took me years to figure things out and finish it, and I could have kept going for many more years and continued to work on it, but art is never finished, only abandoned. So, It's time to share it with you. I hope you enjoy this album as much as I enjoyed making it. Stay metal!
